Bucks could be missing two stars against Pacers in Game 3

The Milwaukee Bucks have not had the services of superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo for the first two games of their opening-round series against the Indiana Pacers. The eight-time All-Star is still nursing a nagging calf injury, which has forced him to miss the first two games of the series.

At this point, it appears that Antetokounmpo is on track to miss Game 3 as well.

Giannis Antetokounmpo doubtful for Game 3

The Bucks have already released their official injury report for Friday’s showdown in Indiana and unfortunately, there is no positive update on the Antetokounmpo health front. The two-time NBA MVP has been listed as doubtful to play, no different than his status prior to the first two games in Miwaukee.

Unfortunately, Antetokounmpo was forced to sit out both Game 1 and 2 after being tagged as doubtful to play and the truth of the matter is that there appears to be no significant progress on his injury that will make us believe that the outcome will change for Game 3 on Friday.

Khris Middleton pops up on injury report

To make things worse for the Bucks, they could now also be without three-time All-Star Khris Middleton for Friday’s critical matchup. This is after the 32-year-old forward was added to the injury report with a sprained right ankle. Officially, Middleton is considered questionable to play in Game 3.

Damian Lillard has played tremendously in the first two games of this series, but he will need to do even more if Milwaukee ends up not having either Antetokounmpo or Middleton on Friday night.
