Watch: NASCAR All-Star Race takes wrong turn as drivers trade blows
NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

Fireworks went off after the NASCAR All-Star Race in more ways than one. Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. got into a fight after the exhibition event.

Stenhouse didn’t even get to the third lap at North Wilkesboro Speedway in Wilkesboro, N.C. before the JTG Daugherty Racing driver was forced out of the action.

Busch’s No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado spun Stenhouse’s No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro on the second lap, causing Stenhouse to crash head-on into the wall.

Stenhouse didn’t take long to express his frustration with Busch. Stenhouse drove his wrecked car into pit road and parked it in Busch’s pit box.

Stenhouse later confronted Busch after the race. The two exchanged words and soon afterward exchanged blows. The pit crews also got involved.

The FOX broadcast caught the altercation as All-Star race winner Joey Logano gave his postrace interview.

Stenhouse had hinted that he was going to do something drastic while speaking to reporters as the race went on. He stayed true to his word.
